What to Do When a Vehicle Still Won't Start After Being Jumped

While jumping a car is a good solution, it is not the only solution to a vehicle that is not going to start. As a matter of fact, there are many different causes for failure of a vehicle to start up. Therefore, it is important to know what other things can be done about a vehicle that won't start.

If a vehicle is not going to start from being jumped, that could be due to a less than adequate connection of the jumper cables at the terminals. One thing that you can do is rock the cables back and forth at the terminals in order to improve the connections to the terminals.

Another thing you can do is try another ground point in which you can connect the car to the other for jumping. You can also allow five to ten minutes of the good car running in order to boost the car that won't start.
