We're all guilty of taking our tire situation for granted. We don't know how to change a flat, or we think it's too difficult to do on the side of the road. What if there was an easy way? This blog post will teach you some basic techniques for changing your tire when it has run out of air and is in need of replacement.

This process is best done at a tire shop. Putting on a new tire requires equipment that you do not have. You'll also need several hours which you likely don't have either, unless you just love being stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat.

We'll assume that your car is jacked up and secured to prevent movement while you do this project. You'll need a tire iron, jack, wrench or socket to loosen the lug nuts. We also suggest bringing along a spare tire and key if you have them.
